How will I receive my images?
Digital images are uploaded to a private online gallery that is password protected for clients discretion. You will be sent a link with all the information needed to access your private, downloadable gallery.
What time do the sessions take place?
All outdoor sessions are shot during golden hour which is the hour after sunrise or the hour before sunset- where the light is beautiful, flattering and, well, just generally pretty magical! The time of this obviously changes quite a lot depending on the season, and in summer, this can make the start times either really early in the morning or much later in the evening.
How do we book you?
Find the "Contact" page at the top, and fill out the form.
Do you offer sneak peeks?
No I do not, and for good reason! All of your images go through three different editing processes- culling the gallery, first edit and final edit. These edits take place in multiple programs and breaking up the process not only can create an inconsistent gallery, but also adds a lot more editing time than it would seem. My artistic approach also requires time for me to marinate with the images before sending one out ASAP.
How many photos do we get?
The number of photos you receive depends on the session booked. Refer to "Pricing" page and feel free to reach out via contact form.
What's your turn around time?
Typical turn around time is 2-3 weeks.
Where can we shoot?
Outdoor sessions will take place at a location within the Orange County area that we choose together during the planning process. It depends on what you're looking for…beach, grass field, urban, etc. If you choose to have your session at a location that charges location or permit fees I will arrange the permit for you and charge the fee to you at cost.
Do you retouch photos?
I individually edit each of your photos to correct color, contrast, exposure, and I will edit any zits or bruises out (anything temporary). I will not alter your appearance to make you look different, simply because...you are beautiful!
How far out do you book?
I recommend booking 2-3 weeks in advance. However, it doesn't hurt to reach out and see what we can do!
Do you provide the original unedited raw image files?
The images in your gallery will be edited to improve lighting, contrast, sharpness, and color — all of which is a standard process for digital photographers. Therefore, I do not provide the unedited RAW images.
What should we wear?
The ultimate goal is that you FEEL amazing in whatever you wear, which means you also need to be comfortable. But, without a doubt there are choices you can make about what to wear that will make your session that little bit extra special to look back on.
Here are some tips:
•Neutrals are timeless
•It’s always nice if your family can wear complimentary colors - but not matchy-matchy
•Avoid shirts with big graphics, logos, lettering, or mixing too many different patterns
•Avoid a lot of white clothing as it distracts from the subjects

Booking Fees / Cancellations / Rescheduling / Tardiness
Booking Fees: 25% of your price is required upfront to reserve your date. This is non-refundable. No exceptions. This fee covers initial communication, all planing, location hunting, and block off a specific time frame for your session.
Cancellations: If you no call no show, you are forfeiting your booking fee and we will not schedule with you again. Please be mindful that when we block off a time spot for you, we are holding that spot only for you. Therefore, we are not able to schedule someone else.
Rescheduling: We understand that life happens, people get sick, and thing go wrong. If you need to reschedule for any reason, please try to give a 48 hour notice. If weather conditions are deeming for pouring down of rain, thunder, or hazardous conditions, we can without a doubt reschedule. If your reschedule is approved, your booking fee will carry over into your new date.
Tardiness: Please plan enough time to get to your session whether that be getting the family ready or navigating through rush hour traffic. If you are running late, please call me. We respect every single client's time and put an incredible amount of effort into scheduling a planning a session. If you are 20 minutes late, you will have a 40 minute session. If you are more than 30 minutes late without calling, you will forfeit your booking fee and we will have the right to cancel the session. We of course understand unforeseen circumstances such as illness or accidents.
