Every portrait session is as unique as the people in the photos. From location and time of day to the season, outfit choices, and individual personalities—everything influences the session and the final images. Whether it’s a family, couple, senior, engagement, or maternity session, I tailor each experience to your story and your needs.
I bring my joy, experience, and passion to every session, guiding you to feel comfortable, connected, and natural in front of the camera. All I ask is that you leave the pre-shoot stress behind (as a mom, I get it 100%!) and trust me to capture your genuine moments. Together, we’ll create images that feel authentic, joyful, and completely you.
My Process
How it works:
I. Let's connect
If you've taken a look around and love my photos then let's work together! I would love to hear all about what you have in mind for your session. Just fill out my contact form so I’ll have all the details and we can get started.
II. Planning your session
I will spend time pre-planning with you to go over all the details such as clothing and location and answer any questions after I receive your inquiry. Sessions are scheduled for either sunrise or about an hour prior to sunset. Once you’ve signed your contract and paid your deposit it’s time for the magic to begin.
III. Take photos
The fun part! Just show up and be ready to make memories, laugh, play, and let me capture the raw, organic moments that make your heart skip a beat. I’ll handle all the details so you can enjoy the experience stress-free.
IV. Deliver memories
About 2–3 weeks after your session, you’ll receive an online gallery with your images. Then comes the best part: viewing your photos and reliving all the special moments we captured!
Location & Lighting
Orange County is full of amazing spots for photos! Each location brings its own unique look and feel—whether it’s your home or yard, the beach at sunset, fields of tall grass, or mountains and lakes, there’s no shortage of beautiful backdrops.
One of the most important elements of great photos is lighting. My style focuses on capturing natural light and that warm, golden glow, which is why I schedule most sessions during golden hour—about an hour before sunset or during the first light of sunrise—for the most flattering, magical light.
